Heart – Performing Arts Festival
WHAT IS HEART?
Heart, It is a family performing arts festival born in the heart of Lanzarote. A vibrant, multidisciplinary meeting point that transforms the town of Playa Honda into a great open-air stage, where art coexists with a strong commitment to sustainability, care for the environment, respect for nature and the protection of our seas.
Since its inception, Heart was created with the intention of merging different performing arts disciplines while making use of the spaces of the place, without adding stages, creating unique experiences that dialogue with the essence of the island.
“Heart” (heart, In English) represents the idea of community, vitality, heartbeat, union — values that the festival seeks to convey: union, collective art, social participation.
In fact, nuestro lema es “When the heart beats in community, art finds its way”.
ART (arte) está “dentro” del Heart (heart).
Simboliza que el arte está en el corazón de la comunidad, de la emoción, de la vida cultural.
Creado por Arenao Producciones, con el apoyo del Ayuntamiento de San Bartolomé y el Cabildo de Lanzarote. La primera edición nace en 2022.
NUESTRO COMPROMISO
La sostenibilidad no es un añadido: es la base sobre la que se construye cada paso del festival.
Con las artes escénicas y la conciencia ambiental como pilares fundamentales, Heart incorpora criterios sostenibles sociales, ambientales y económicos en todas sus acciones, convirtiéndose en mucho más que un evento cultural.
Heart es un compromiso con la sociedad Lanzaroteña y Canaria, con su entorno natural y con el futuro. Un festival que inspira, that connects and actively contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations in the agenda 2030.
