By simply changing the position of a letter of the word "Heart", Heart in English, we can turn it into "Earth", which in Spanish means "planet Earth".
At the festival we are aware of the close relationship between our heartbeat, our life and that of all other beings, with the health of our home, of this wonderful blue planet floating in space.
The Heart festival makes the stages beat to the rhythm of the different performing arts, turning the town of Playa Honda into a vibrant space full of culture.
Culture Tells Who We Are, it is the reflection of our identity and with it, We also define the future of our society. A greener future will be possible if we have culture as one of the pillars.
Heart wants to do everything in its power to encourage, what culture naturally does for itself, taking care of our home and those who inhabit it, thus supporting the outreach of the Sustainable Development Goals.
NATURA NETWORK 2000
Did you know that Playa Honda has an area integrated into the Natura Network? 2000?
The Natura Network 2000 It is the largest network of protected areas in the world, And in front of the coast of our municipality we find one of those spaces, the Sebadales de Guasimeta Special Area of Conservation.
It is very special because among the habitats of interest that are found in this space we find sebadales, Seagrass meadows that are home to impressive biodiversity.
