Kamishibai is an ancient Japanese art based on Oral Storytelling and the transmission of knowledge and traditions.
In contemporary times, it reappears around the 1930 and fills the corners of Tokyo and many other corners of Japan with thousands of stories and sweets.
Transported on many occasions on bicycles and curious wagons, they come again to stay and establish themselves not only as fun, but as a support and vehicle for the transmission of knowledge and even as a tool for SOCIAL EDUCATION.
In this workshop we will learn the essential techniques for Kamishibai storytelling and creation.
